Conversion tracking before spend
Before a dollar goes to Google, we record phone calls from the ads and the site, form messages and online bookings, so each keyword is measured by the inquiries it brings.
Few owners searching for advertising help type “google ads niagara falls”; that phrase brings back no suggestions at all. They look for a marketing agency in Niagara Falls, or for marketing companies in the Niagara Region, and then discover that running a campaign here has its own complications. The first is geography. Niagara Falls, New York is a short drive across the river, and a campaign with loose location settings can spend your budget on people in another country who were never going to cross for an oil change or a dental cleaning.
The second complication runs the other way. For plenty of businesses here, the customers who matter most are not in the city when they search. Day-trippers plan from Toronto, about 130 km off, and the suggestions show tours sold “from toronto”, “from montreal”, “from ottawa” and “from london ontario”. The City’s economic development office points to 150 million consumers within a day’s drive. A hotel, tour operator or wedding venue may want those people; a plumber does not. Each business needs its own boundary, drawn deliberately.
The third is timing. Tourism peaks from July to September, followed by spring and then late autumn, and visitor searches carry price words: “deals”, “discount code”, “all inclusive prices”. Residents search to their own rhythm, for furnaces when the cold arrives and roofers after a storm. A budget spread evenly across twelve months suits neither, so we plan spending around the calendar your business actually keeps.
Search demand
Verbatim Google.ca suggestions from October 2026. Some deserve a bid, some belong on a negative list, and some show how owners go looking for help.
Every account starts tight: ads shown to people located in Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region towns you serve, with negative keywords for ny, new york, blvd and other signs of the American side. Once that core campaign brings inquiries at a reasonable cost, and only if your business sells to visitors, we add a separate campaign for people searching from further away, with its own budget so its results stay easy to judge.
Paid or organic
The two work at different speeds. A business tied to the tourist season may switch ads on for summer and rely on organic search through the long off-season.
The work
Before a dollar goes to Google, we record phone calls from the ads and the site, form messages and online bookings, so each keyword is measured by the inquiries it brings.
The core campaign shown only to people who are, or usually are, inside your service area, rather than to anyone idly curious about the Falls from afar.
The American side, job hunting, free offers and do-it-yourself queries excluded at launch, then added to every week from the search terms report.
For hotels, tours, venues and restaurants, a separate capped campaign aimed at people planning from Toronto or further afield, reported on its own.
More spend in the months your trade peaks, less in the quiet ones, and nothing during hours when nobody can answer the phone.
Prices stated plainly in Canadian dollars, package claims kept accurate under the Competition Act, and ads in regulated fields reviewed against the rules of bodies such as RECO or FSRA.
Done carefully
Standards we keep for every client, set out here so you can check us against them.
Google charges your card for clicks. Our fee is flat, so we gain nothing when your ad budget grows.
You open the ad account under your company name and keep administrator rights throughout. Our management comes with the Pro plan, $700 monthly in CAD, cancellable at any month’s end. Walk away whenever you like: the account, every past campaign and all its tracking stay yours.

How we work
Four stages that move a Niagara Falls business from overlooked to shortlisted.
We read through your website and Business Profile and test your rankings from spots across town, Chippawa to Stamford.
We shortlist the searches that lead to paying customers and pair every one with a page built for it.
Fixes to the profile, site, content and listings, beginning where the gain is largest.
Each month, a short plain-language note on calls, messages and positions, and the next priorities.
Questions
Location settings and negative keywords split the job. The first restricts ads to people who are, or often are, in the places you choose; the second blocks any search mentioning New York or a street over there. Each week we go through the actual searches that triggered your ads and close any gap.
Only if you sell to visitors. Hotels, tour operators, wedding venues and some restaurants win much of their trade from people planning a trip. For them we run a separate, capped campaign so you can see what those inquiries cost. A plumber or an accountant rarely needs one.
For most tourism businesses, yes, though not to zero if you still sell stays around the Winter Festival of Lights or early spring bookings. Home services often do the reverse, spending more once furnaces and roofs start giving trouble. We set the calendar with you at the start.
Clearly in Canadian dollars. An ad or landing page that leaves the currency vague invites complaints and can mislead, which the Competition Act treats seriously. Writing “CAD” costs nothing.
No. Clicks go on your own card, charged by Google itself. Our work on the account comes with Pro, $700 a month in CAD.
The first few weeks go mostly into learning which searches produce real inquiries. We suggest giving a new account two or three months, timed if possible so the learning happens before your busy season rather than in the middle of it.
